St. Claret College (SCC), Bangalore was established in 2005 in response to the dire need of the local populace of Northern Bangalore for quality higher education. Having charted an impressive growth story so far, SCC today caters to the higher education needs of students not only from the other states of India, but also from several countries overseas. SCC is run by the Claretian Congregation, an international organization present in 65 countries and specialized in the field of education having Universities and Institutes of Higher Learning in around 64 countries. SCC provides quality education to students of Under Graduate Degree in Commerce (Regular & Professional), Management, Computer Science, Humanities, Travel & Tourism and Science. SCC also has Masters in Commerce and Social Work. Situated in a serene campus with lot of space and greenery within the city of Bangalore, SCC provides the best environment for holistic education which is conducive for serious academic pursuits and professional training.  ‘Ever onward’, the motto of SCC, speaks in a nutshell the spirit behind all the undertakings of this institution.

It is indeed heartening to note that within a short span of 14 years, SCC has carved a niche among the higher education institutions in Bangalore. Year after year, our students (Claretines) have been bagging several university ranks and thus excelling in the field of academics.  As Claretian education is a holistic one, SCC students have been winning laurels for the college in Sports, fests and extra-curricular competitions, apart from being enthusiastically involved in Social Outreach Programs and Extension activities. As part of our social outreach, college has also adopted 5 villages under Unnath Bharath Abhiyan of central government. No wonder then that St. Claret College is permanently affiliated to Bangalore University and is accredited by NAAC. Being part of an international network, St. Claret College provides a global experience in the local setting. The presence of international students from diverse nations adds to the international flavor of the campus, which helps the Indian students to become truly global citizens in today’s globalized era.
