X-Gen College of Visual Art is approved by Government of Odisha and Affiliated with Utkal University of Culture – Bhubaneswar, Odisha. Earlier it known as X-Gen Academy of Animation. X-Gen College of Visual Art is a pioneer Visual Art college in India for Bachelor in Fine Art, Animation & Visual art and has been significantly shaping the career of many students, and is still making effort to channelize the creativity on its zenith.

X-Gen College of Visual Art started with the vision to provide high end training in Fine Art, 3D Animation, Film Making, VFX, Graphics Designing & Photography. The college uses high - end computers, Wacom tablet, 2k/4k Camera and other equipment which is similar to global Fine Arts, Animation & VFX Industry. Every month X-Gen college of Visual Art conducts “Student of the month” competition in Pre-Production, Production, and Post-Production category among the college students so the students can understand the value of quality work and Industry’s requirement. At X-Gen College of Visual Art it is compulsory to make a corporate portfolio/short 3D Animation film for each student.
