Founded in 2008, Yenepoya University is the first private deemed to be a university in the district of Dakshin Kannada (South Kannada).  The institute is known for its social commitment through conducting free medical, eye & dental camps, in the community. The institute offers different discipline courses in the field of medicine.

Yenepoya University offers undergraduate and postgraduate level courses in Medical, Dental, and Nursing. The Yenepoya University admissions are based on the NEET results and merit scores in 10+2 from recognized board.

Yenepoya University Courses

Yenepoya University has multiple departments and centers which are dental, medical, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and research center.

Yenepoya Dental Course

The Dental Department at Yenepoya College offers BDS at the undergraduate level and MDS at postgraduate level. To take admissions a candidate should clear NEET-UG conducted by CBSE for admissions to BDS and NEET-PG for admissions to MDS courses.

Yenepoya Medical Course

The Medical College offers BHA, B.Sc Technology Courses and MBBS at the undergraduate level and MD-MS at postgraduate level. To take admissions in these courses the college has different procedures:

• To apply for BH and B.Sc University conducts entrance exam. On the basis of the rank lists offline counseling and admissions are made.
• For MBBS students need to clear NEET-UG is conducted by CBSE and NEET-PG for admission in MD-MS.

Yenepoya Nursing Course

Yenepoya Nursing department offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses. B.Sc. Nursing and Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing offered at UG level and M.Sc. Nursing offered at PG level. Yenepoya University conducts an entrance exam for the admission in nursing courses.

Yenepoya Pharmacy Course

The Yenepoya Pharmacy College & Research center offers B.Pharm and D.Pharm at the undergraduate level and MSW at post-graduation level. For the admissions the university conduct entrance exam. Admission and offline counseling made on the basis of the rank lists.

Yenepoya University Placement

Placement cell at Yenepoya University has been formed to look at the training and placement activities of the student from the very first day.

• In Feb. 2012 2 graduate nurses got selected by Apollo Hospitals, Hyderabad.
• In Feb. 2012 20 graduate nurses, in May 2012 7 graduate nurses, in July 2012 43 graduate nurses were selected by Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.
