AILET 2020 (All India Law Entrance Test) will be conducted on May 3, 2020. It is a university level law entrance exam conducted by National Law University, Delhi for admitting students in its B.A. LL.B (Hons.), LL.M and Ph.D. programs.
AILET 2020 Registration has started from January 15, 2020 on official portal nludelhi.ac.in. Candidates can fill the Application Form till April 8, 2020.
Candidates appearing or having passed class 12 with minimum 50% marks are eligible for the exam. However, AILET 2020 Eligibility for LLM and Ph.D programs is different. AILET 2020 Application fees is INR 3050 for General, OBC and EWS category and INR 1050 for SC, ST and PWD candidates.
- Admit Card for 2020 session will be available from April 22. 2020 onwards till the day of Exam.
- As per AILET 2020 Exam Pattern, it will be a 90-minute long offline test having 150 MCQs of 1 mark each with a negative marking 0.25 mark for wrong answer.
- AILET Syllabus includes English, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, Reasoning and Elementary Mathematics.
- NLU Delhi provides 110 seats under Aptitude Test and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals for B.A.LLB Program.
- For LLM programs 70 seats are under merit category from AILET and 10 are reserved for direct admission to Foreign Nationals.
- NLU provides 50% reservation of seats to students of Delhi. A horizontal reservation is granted to female candidates. 30% of total seats are reseved for women candidates.

AILET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for LLB
- Intermediate (class 10+2) graduates with minimum 50% aggregate marks can apply for the exam.
- Candidates appearing in class 12 exam are also eligible to apply for AILET 2020.
AILET 2020 Eligibility Criteria for LLM
- LLB Graduates or any other equivalent degree with minimum 55% aggregate marks (In case of SC/ST/PwD it is 50% marks)
- Candidates in their last year of LLB can also apply
