AME CET is an entrance test conducted for admissions in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering courses offered in some of the leading institutes approved by Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt of India. AME CET 2020 will be held on May 5, 2020. Aspirants who wish to pursue a career in aviation maintenance must appear for AME CET 2020.
AME CET 2020 Application Forms are available at amecet.in from November 1 – March 15, 2020.
- Aspirants should be intermediate graduate or 3-year engineering diploma holder with mathematics and physics as compulsory subjects.
- AME CET 2020 will be conducted in both online and offline mode in 43 cities across India.
- The one and half hour long test will have 90 MCQs set in both English and Hindi language.
- AME CET 2020 Syllabus includes Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, English, General Awareness and Aptitude.

AME CET Scholarships 2020
Meritorious candidates are awarded the scholarship on the basis of their AME CET AIR. The scholarship is available for qualified students irrespective of their caste, gender and religion. It will be awarded as first semester tuition fee based on All India Rank of the student in AME CET 2020.

AME CET Eligibility
AME CET 2020 Eligibility
AME CET Aspirants must satisfy the eligibility criteria specified by the conducting authority in order to be eligible for AME CET 2020. The eligibility criteria is mentioned below:
- Candidate must have passed 10+2 or appearing in 2020 with non-medical stream or equivalent AICTE approved 3 years engineering diploma or any higher qualification in science with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
- Any candidate possessing three years Diploma in any stream recognized by Central or State Government can appear in AME Entrance Exam 2020.
- Any candidate who is eligible for admission in B. Tech. Courses is also eligible for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (AME) Course.
- Candidate must not be less than 16 years and more than 28 years of age at the time of admission in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.
- The maximum number of attempts for AME CET is 3.
AME CET Registration
AME CET Application Form 2020
AME CET 2020 Application Form can be filled in both online and offline mode. Aspirant can submit the application form according to their convenience. Below given is the online and offline process of filling up the application form.
AME CET 2020 Online Registration
Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official website i.e. amecet.in and apply for AME CET 2020 Exam.
- Submit all the personal, academic and communication details.
- After filling up the form upload the photograph and signature.
Step 2: Payment of AME CET Application Fee
- AME CET Registration fee has to be submitted for the final submission.
- The fees can be paid using debit card/ credit card or netbanking.
- Aspirant will receive a confirmation message along with registration ID on the provided mobile number and email.
- AME CET aspirant must take a printout of the acknowledgment page and keep the registration ID for future reference with AME CET.
Note: The Entrance Examination Fee for AME CET 2020 is INR 1000/- for Male candidates of General and OBC category and INR 800/- for Female candidates of all categories and for SC/ST candidates.
AME CET 2020 Offline Registration
- Candidates have to purchase the offline application form from the authorized centers.
- Further, the candidate needs to fill the academic details and paste the photograph in the application form.

AME CET Exam Pattern
AME CET Exam Pattern 2020
- The 90 minutes long AME CET Exam is conducted in both offline and online mode on same day.
- There will be 90 multiple choice questions from topics of Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, English and General Awareness.
- The question papers will be set in both Hindi and English medium. However, in case of any ambiguity, the English version will prevail over Hindi.
- Each correct answer will fetch 4 marks while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The exam pattern slightly varies for class 12th or equivalent exam qualifiers and 3-year Engg. diploma holders.

AME CET Syllabus 2020
AME CET Syllabus is different for candidates with 10+2 or equivalent qualification and for candidates with 3 Years of Engineering Diploma Holders/B. Tech/ Higher qualification in Science with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subject.
- Higher senior secondary graduates will have 90 questions from 5 sections as Physics, Chemistry Mathematics, English and General Awareness
- Diploma Holders will be tested on General Awareness, Aptitude and English.

AME CET 2020 Result
AME CET 2020 Result will be declared on May 14, 2020. Based on the performance of the candidates, a separate merit list will be prepared. Scorecard with total marks in each subject and AIR shall be released on the official website after the declaration of result.
AME CET Reservation 2020
According to the conducting body, every year some percentage of the seats are reserved for Girls and for 3-year Engineering Diploma holding candidates. The reservation of seats in AME CET is given below:

AME CET Counselling and Tuition Fee
Candidates who obtain minimum cutoff marks will be invited for the counselling process. Successful candidates shall be notified according to their AIR by SMS or email. Candidates will have to report at the reporting centers with the required documents for verification and the confirmation of admission.
