Test takers found physics to be the toughest section out of the three for this particular shift. Chemistry section was the easiest with 6-8 questions from inorganic chemistry and a majority of questions from organic chemistry. There were questions from coordination compounds in chemistry. Mathematics came across as a easy section for candidates but it was lengthy thus challenging. There were about 4-5 questions from calculus in mathematics. Most asked topics in Physics were heat and thermodynamics, optics and modern physics etc. Numerical value based questions were easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level as per the candidates.
JEE Main January 9, 2020 B.E/ B.Tech Paper Analysis (Afternoon Shift)
B.E/ B.Tech paper on January 9, 2020 afternoon shift was the last paper of JEE Main 2020 January session. The paper was observed to be of a moderate difficulty level, with physics being the toughest section, which is similar to the same day morning shift paper pattern. 3D, Vector, Probability, AP etc were some of the asked topics in Mathematics. A lot of questions in organic chemistry were from the exercises in NCERT as shared by some of the test takers. The syllabus of class XI was given more weightage in Physics and moment of inertia and centre of mass were some topics from which questions were asked in the section.
JEE Main January 8, 2020 B.E/ B.Tech Paper Analysis (Morning Shift)
