5 years ago - EXAM - All India - 341 viewsJindal Scholastic Aptitude Test (JSAT) is an International level entrance exam conduct by O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) for admission into UG programs (like BBA, Integrated BBA, BA (Hons.) etc.).
The exam is generally conducted each year from February to July. JSAT 2020 would begin from February and would be available to be taken by candidates till July 2020.
- The registration cum application process for JSAT 2020 would be made available on the official website from December 1, 2019 to July 2020.
- Candidates can make multiple attempts for JSAT 2020 during its conduct period and the best of all the score would be considered for the purpose of admission. For each attempt of JSAT 2020 registration would have to be made afresh.
- Candidates would be allowed the chance to select the date and slot for the JSAT 2020 exam.
- JSAT 2020 admit card would be made available one week before the JSAT 2020 exam date on the official website. Dispatching of admit card would also take place.
- JSAT 2020 exam would test candidates for their abilities in verbal ability (English) & logical reasoning along with the test for Quantitative aptitude.
- The JSAT 2020 would be online based only and the nature of the exam would be objective type.
- A total of 120 MCQs would be asked in the JSAT 2020 exam (divided into 3 sections).
- The duration of the JSAT 2020 exam would be 2 Hours (120 Minutes).
- After the JSAT 2020 written exam, a merit list of all the qualifying candidates would be prepared based on their performance in the exam.
- Counselling cum admission process for that particular year would be conducted based on the merit list prepared.

JSAT Eligibility
Candidates looking to take the JSAT 2020 must note the eligibility criteria for JSAT 2020 as stipulated by JGU. Candidates applying for the respective courses (offered through JSAT 2020) would have to check whether they fulfill the desired eligibility criteria or not. In case of non-fulfillment of the eligibility criteria, the candidature of the candidate would be canceled at any subsequent stage of the exam.
The details regarding eligibility criteria’s are mentioned below for your reference
- Candidate must be a citizen of India/NRI/PIO card holder
- Candidate must have passed senior secondary or equivalent exam from a recognized board with at least 60% (relaxable for reserved category candidates) in aggregate.
- Candidate must not have any backlog at senior secondary or equivalent level at the time of taking admission in the course.
- Candidate must have attained a minimum of 17 years of age at the time of admission.
Registration cum Application process for JSAT 2020
Registration cum application process for JSAT 2020 would be made available in online mode only on the official website of JGU. Candidates would have to visit the official website in order to make application for the JSAT 2020 exam.

Registration Process
- Go to the official website of JSAT 2020: http://www.jgbs.edu.in
- Click on JSAT 2020 Registration/application tab.
- A new web page would be opened. Fill in the registration details asked for like the name, E-mail ID, mobile number etc.
- Click on submit. A new registration ID and password would be sent to the registered E-mail address.
Application Process
- Login to the portal using the credentials received through E-mail.
- Fill in the details as asked for in the JSAT 2020 detailed application form.
- Select the preference, of course, exam center, slot etc.
- Upload your signature and Photograph (as per dimensions provided in the notification) in .jpeg format.
- Pay the exam fee.
- Preview the filled application form.
- Correct mistakes in the application form (if any).
- Click on submit.
JSAT Admit card
Admit card for JSAT 2020 would be made available in online mode only. Candidates should be able to download the JSAT 2020 one week before the date of exam form the official website.
Candidates should follow the following steps to download the JSAT 2020 admit card
- Go to the official website of JGU: http://www.jgbs.edu.in
- Click on “JSAT 2020 Admit cards”.
- A candidate log in window will appear.
- Fill in your credentials like date of birth, registration number, and captcha code to log in.
- Admit card will appear on the screen.
- Download this admit card and take a printout of the same.
JSAT Exam centers
Candidates appearing for JSAT 2020 would be allowed to make a preference for the choice of examination center during the time of registration/application. The availability of the choice would rest with conducting authority and would be decided on first come first serve basis.
The JSAT 2020 exam would be conducted at over 240 verified centers across India and abroad. The list of nearest centers would be available to the candidate at the time of making application for JSAT 2020.
JSAT Exam Pattern
- The JSAT 2020 exam would be conducted in online mode only.
- A total of 120 MCQ type questions are asked in the exam.
- Candidates are tested for their knowledge in handling questions from verbal ability (English) & logical reasoning along with the test for Quantitative Aptitude
- 40 questions would be asked from each section.
- Each question would carry equal marks
- There would be no negative marking for the wrong answer in JSAT 2020.
- The paper would be held in the English language.

JSAT Results
The results of the JSAT 2020 exam would be announced at the end of each leg of the JSAT 2020 exam. Candidates would be able to check their results by visiting the official website as soon as results are published by them.
Candidates are required to follow the following steps in order to check their results.
- Go to the official website of JSAT 2020: http://www.jgbs.edu.in
- Click on the link “JSAT 2020 Results”.
- After clicking on this tab you would be directed to a login window.
- Log in using your registered e-mail id (entered at the time of making application) and password.
- Click on submit.
- The JSAT 2020 Scorecard would appear on the screen.
- Download it and take a printout of the same for future reference.
JSAT Cut off
Cut-off of JSAT 2020 exam would depend on various factors like
- the number of applicants for the exam
- seats available
- The difficulty level of the question paper
- Marking scheme for that year and other related factors
The cut-off in JSAT 2020 varies from course to course for which candidates have made the application. The details about the official cut-offs for JSAT 2020 are not released by JGU.
JSAT Counselling
As soon as the JSAT 2020 results for the respective leg of the exam are declared and the merit list for that is published JGU would begin the Counselling cum admission process for various courses. Those candidates who will clear the exam would be issued a Counselling letter.
The Counselling would be conducted by the exam conducting authority and the details for it would be published on the official website. The Counselling would be done on the basis of merit list prepared after the announcement of results. The final decision in regards to any issue related to the Counselling process would rest with the conducting authority and will be deemed final.
Counselling would be conducted for each leg of the JSAT 2020 separately. That is those taking admission in the respective leg would have to take the admission in that leg’s Counselling and there would be no mechanism for combined Counselling for all the legs together.
