Before MAH MCA CET 2020 Registration aspirants must ensure that they fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the authorities. Indian nationals holding a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent can appear for the exam.
The exam consists of 100 objective type questions to be completed in 90 minutes. Each correct answer will carry 2 marks. Each wrong answer will carry 0.5 negative marks.
MAH MCA CET 2020 to be conducted on March 28, 2020 in online (computer-based) mode. The result of the exam is expected to be released in the last week of April 2020.

- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian Nationals.
- Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for the examination.
For admission to 1st year of MCA
- Bachelor degree holders in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Mathematics at the intermediate level/ graduation level is a must.
- General Category candidates having 50% aggregate marks (at least 45% for SC/ ST/ PwD) belonging to the state of Maharashtra only.
- Final year candidates can also apply.

Registration for MAH MCA CET 2020
The application form filling procedure is completely online. Candidates have to visit the official website to register for MAH MCA CET. The registration process consists of a few simple steps namely Registration, Fill the Online Form, Uploading documents and Fee Payment. Step 1: Registration
- Visit the official website of DTE i.e. mahacet.org
- Click on ‘Apply Online’ and ‘Click here for New Registration’
- Enter Name, Contact details and Email-id.
- You will receive a registration number and password for future use.
Step 2: Filling the Online Application
- Login with the credentials you had received during the time of registration.
- Enter Personal, Academic details and Exam Details.
- Save application by clicking 'Validate your details' and 'Save & Next' button.
Step 3: Upload Documents
After completely furnishing the application, scan and upload your photo and signature as per the defined guidelines.

MAH MCA CET 2020 Result
The result of MAH MCA CET 2020 will be declared online, at the official website of DTE. Candidates need to enter their MCA Application ID or Roll Number to download your scorecard. Listed below are quick facts about MCA Results:

- DTE will release a provisional merit list online for MAH MCA CET 2020 soon after the results are announced.
- A minimum of 50% marks (40% for SC/ST) is required to stand eligible for counselling.

DTE will release cut off for various institutes after CAP rounds are over. The cut off will depend on various factors like rank of candidate, availability of seats, category, and preference of college. MAH MCA CET Cut Off will be prepared on the basis of the following factors:

MAH MCA CET 2020 Counselling
- For final admissions, MAH MCA CET 2020 Counselling will be carried out through CAP (Centralized Admission Process).
- Register for CAP rounds which will begin from June 2020.
- The steps involved in MAH MCA CET 2020 Centralized Admission Process are:
Step 1: Visit the official website and look for the notification regarding the Counselling procedure.
Step 2: On the official website, the available category wise seats in various institutes will be displayed for CAP Rounds I and II.
Step 3: Fill up the application form for CAP rounds.
Step 4: While filling the form, choose the institutions' preference in decreasing order of preference.
Step 5: After the preferred form is filled, applicants will be allotted an institute by DTE authority.
Step 6: Aspirants will have a choice to either ‘Freeze’ or ‘Float’ the seat allotted.
Step 7: If the applicants choose the ‘Freeze’ option, their seats in the particular institute will be confirmed and they will not be considered for further rounds.
Step 8: If the aspirant chooses the ‘Float’ option, the seat offered to them will be confirmed but if he gets admission to another institution of higher preference then they will accept it or else continue in the institute previously offered to them.
Once students accept the seat, they must visit the allotted institute for verification of documents and scrutiny of certificates. The admission process will finally be completed after the successful verification of documents.
