MICAT 2020 Exams
5 years ago - EXAM - All India - 493 viewsMICAT is organized by Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad, for admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Management - Communications (PGDM-C). MICAT is held twice a year as MICAT I and MICAT II.
For the session 2020, MICAT I and MICAT II have been scheduled for December 7, 2019 and January 25, 2020 respectively. MICAT-I Registration has been closed, however interested candidates can go for MICAT II Registration, available till January 17, 2020 (Extended).
- Any graduate or final year student can apply for MICAT 2020. Also, the candidate must have a valid score of CAT 2019 OR XAT 2020 or GMAT 2018 (Onwards).
- Candidates can apply for both the sessions and better of the two marks will be considered in this case.
- MICAT is a computer-based test and involves 3 different sections with total 140 questions.
- It tests candidates’ Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation, Divergent-Convergent Reasoning, General Awareness and Verbal Ability.
- Candidates who clear MICAT written tests will have to appear for Group Exercise and Personal Interview (GE & PI).

MICAT Eligibility Criteria
MICAT 2020 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, with the 10+2+3 system, or equivalent qualification from a university recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
- They must also have valid scores of any one of the national level management tests, namely, CAT 2019, XAT 2020 or GMAT 2018 onwards to be eligible for MICAT 2020.
- Students in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply for the test.
- Foreign Nationals/ NRI’s need to have a valid GMAT score (600+) taken after 2012 and a passport.
MICAT 2020 Registration
MICAT- II Application Form has been available from November 26, 2019. MICAT Application process can be completed in online mode only.
How to apply for MICAT
How to apply for MICAT 2020?
- Visit the official website of MICA
- Click on the link ‘MICAT 2020 Registration’
- Fill details such as Applicant name, mobile number, email address, security code and agree to the terms & conditions
- Note down your User Id and Password
- Login as “existing user” and fill the application form
- Details in the form include Personal details, postal address, education details, experience details, test city, upload a photo in the requisite format & size.
- Submit your MICAT Application Form and pay the application fee
- Take a print out of the submitted form and keep it safe for future reference
MICAT Application Fee 2020
MICAT Registration will be complete once you pay the application fee. It is same for all categories. Details of MICAT Application Fee are given below:

MICAT 2020 Admit Card
MICAT – I Admit Card is available for download from December 3, 2019. MICAT 2020 Admit Card can be downloaded in online mode only from the official website – mica.ac.in. The steps to download the admit card of MICAT 2020 is given below:
- Visit the official website of MICAT .
- Log-in using registered id and password which was auto-generated during the registration process.
- Click on the admit card link.
- Enter your application number and Date of Birth
- MICAT 2020 Admit Card will be displayed on the desktop.
- Download the Admit Card and take its printouts for further use.
MICAT- II Admit card will be available to download from January 22 – January 25, 2020.

MICAT Marking Scheme 2020
The total marks of the MICAT paper are not declared by MICA. There is no negative marking for Section 1 and Paper 1 of Section 2. Paper 2 and Paper 3 have 25 percent negative marking in case of wrong answers.
