Established in the year 1927, New Delhi YMCA is a part of the Young Men's Christian Association, which was founded in 1844 in London. It provides educational and support services. Under New Delhi YMCA, there are five educational institutes offering degree programmes in different areas of specialization. These institutes are Institute of Management Studies, Institute for Fashion Technology & Design, Institute of Career Studies, Institute of Office Management, and Institute of Media Studies & Information Technology.

YMCA, New Delhi Admission Process

Admission in New Delhi YMCA is offered without any discrimination in gender, colour, caste and creed. The admission criteria for different courses might vary. However, all the applicants will have to fill and submit the application form.

  • The candidates will have to go to the centre to avail and submit the application form.
  • With the application form, applicants have to attach their certificates and mark sheets of grades 10 and 12.
  • For postgraduation courses, the graduation degree and mark sheet must be attached.
  • If the applicant's results are awaited, then he/she need to attach their admit card.


YMCA, New Delhi Placements

New Delhi YMCA has set up the Placement and Corporate Interaction Cell, which aims to bring lucrative employment opportunities for students in their respective fields. It provides appropriate summer placement and final placements to students. This placement cell consists of professors from each programme, including information technology, hospitality management, and mass communication and media.

Leading corporations from the R&D sector, public sector and private MNC's, come to YMCA to offer students placement opportunities. Some of these organizations where students received placements are American Express, NDTV, Citibank, Aajtak, ICICI Bank, CNBC, Bank of America and Times of India.


YMCA Special Programmes

YMCA provides short-term courses ranging from a period of three to six months. And, some of these are six-month fine arts course, retail design and display, Autocad course in interior designing and leather designing. Additionally, the institute offers one-month courses, namely MS Office with Internet and Basics of Graphic Designing.
