Earlier known as the PES Institute of Technology, PES University is a private university situated in Bangalore, India. It was founded in 1972 by Dr. M.R. Doreswamy with around 40 students. It emphasizes on 5 educational areas, namely life sciences, law, management, medicine and engineering. PES University offers both specialization and foundation courses.

The university now has a total of over 15,000 students and manages around 45 educational programs. PES University is one of India's leading research and teaching universities which is committed to offering education to students so that they can utilize their full potential in the outside world. It offers a wide range of undergraduate programmes like B Tech, LLB, B Des, B Arch, BBA, BBA (hospitality and event management), B Com, and B Pharm. It also offers postgraduate programmes like M Com, M Tech, MBA and MCA. Research programmes such as Master of Technology by Research and Ph D are also offered.

The fees structure for various courses is different, however, CET fees for B Tech, B Arch, MBA, MCA, M Tech and Diploma CET B Tech are Rs. 48,000 (Mandatory fee + Optional fee).

PES University Admission Process

For candidates seeking admission at PES University, they need to check the eligibility of the desired program and then register for the online written test called PESSAT on the official website of the college.

After the test, candidates will have to appear for an interview on the same day as the written test. If the candidate is selected, he/she must pay the said fees and can begin his/her classes. Besides KCET and PESSAT Exams, scores of GMAT, CAT, CMAT, GRE, MAT, PGCET, UCEED, and other national level exams are also considered.
