Shobhit University was established in the year 2006 by the NICE society under the leadership of Dr. Shobhit Kumar and Kunwar Shekhar Vijendra. Shobhit University has its two constituent bodies. These are:

Shobhit University Admissions and Courses

Shobhit University offers undergraduate programmes along with post-graduate programmes and diploma courses.

Shobhit University Undergraduate Programmes

• SU offers 15 undergraduate programmes with numerous specializations.
• These are B.Tech, B.C.A, B.B.A, B.Pharm, B.Com, B.Com-Hons., B.Sc. (Hons.), B.A (Hons.), BAMS, BNYS, BA (Yoga), B.A (LL.B.), B.B.A (LL.B-Hons.), B.Com (LL.B-Hons.), LL.B, B.Ed.
• Students who have passed class 12th in the relevant stream with an aggregate of 50% are eligible for Shobhit University Admissions.
• Admission to Management courses in Shobhit University is done on the basis of CAT score.

Shobhit University Postgraduate Programmes

• Shobhit University offers 7 postgraduate programmes with numerous specializations.
• These are M.C.A, M.C.A Lateral entry, M.Sc., B.Sc., B.Sc. (Hons.), M-Tech, M.Pharm, Postgraduate Diploma (Yoga) Programme
• Students who have got a bachelor’s degree in the relevant stream are eligible for Shobhit university postgraduate admissions.
• Admissions in the engineering department are done on the basis of JEE (Main) score.

Shobhit University Ph.D./M.Phil. Programmes.

• Shobhit University offers Ph.D. in 19 departments and M.Phil. in 9 departments.
• Ph.D. programmes are available in management, Technology, Science, Arts and commerce streams.
• Students who have attained a Master’s degree in the relevant subject with an aggregate of 55% are eligible for the Shobhit University Ph.D./ M.Phil. Admissions.

Shobhit University Diploma programmes

Shobhit University offers 5 diploma courses. These are the following:

• Diploma in Biotechnology
• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• Diploma in Computer Science Engineering
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering

Shobhit University Placements

• The placement cell of Shobhit University makes sure to provide a plethora of opportunities to the students.
• More than 100 companies visit the campus to participate in these drives.
• Few of many companies that participate in Shobhit University Placement are Biocon, Cap Gemini, Dakine Technologies, etc.
• The University Training and Development Centre of Shobhit University has also started an internship programme called “Industry Engagement Initiative” to help students do better.

Shobhit University Scholarships

Shobhit University offers special scholarships along with the need and merit-based scholarships. All Shobhit University scholarships are sponsored by the university itself. Following are a few of them:

• Adarsh Vidyadhan Samman Scholarship is offered to Northeastern students and girls students providing them 20% tuition fee waiver.
• Chancellor’s Scholarship which includes up to 20% tuition fee waiver is offered to alumni who apply for further studies in Shobhit University.
• Students who have secured more than 75%, 85% and 90% in qualifying exam are offered 20%, 30% and 40% of tuition fee waiver respectively.
• A gratitude scholarship known as “Babu Vijendra Shourya Samman Scholarship” is offered to Indian army Martyrs wards which provide 50% tuition fee waiver.
