The Sri Ramalinga Sowdambigai College was incepted with the aim to impart quality education to the youth of rural areas. The institute is located in a sprawling campus and has excellent architecture. It has the ambient surroundings which is favorable for the learning atmosphere. Emphasis is also put on inculcating disciplinary significance amongst the students. The faculty and the management ensure that the students are able to avail academic excellence.

Spacious, Fully furnished class rooms with neat desks and benches, light and good ventilation are being maintained in a propper manner, providing a clean and healthy environment conductive to study.

Computer Lab

Our college has 3 Computer Labs which are spacious and air-conditioned containing 160 Macines, 10 Printers, Overhead Projector, LCD, UNIX, Windows 2009 Novell NetWare, Internet Servers, Multimedia Packages, equipped with lattest software and hardware with terminals and work

Placement Cell :-

The placement cell has been working actively and effectively for several years towards the career promotion of students.

The objectives of the placement cell are.

• Preparing the students to face the interviews by training them in various skill sets such as communication skills, aptitude test, Group discussion, BPO training etc. 
• Maintain student's database.
• Maintain list of companies which shall be called for campus interview.
