Uttaranchal University Entrance Examination or UUEE is a university-level examination supervised by Uttaranchal University (UU) for admissions in undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering, management, law etc. 

  • The application fee is INR 1200 and the processing fee is INR 50.
  • Candidates are advised to check the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. 
  • The exam consists of 100 objective type multiple choice question.
  • Duration of the exam is 2 hour.
  • There is no negative marking for incorrect or unanswered questions.
  • The result for UUEE 2020 would be out in the last week of May 2020.

Candidates belonging to Northeastern side may apply for all the courses offered by the university. Remaining candidates from India are bound to choose among engineering courses compulsorily. JEE Main rank would also be considered valid while taking admissions.

UUEE Eligibility 2020

Candidates failing to accomplish the eligibility criteria set by Uttaranchal University (UU), application of such candidates would not be accepted. So, its better for candidates to go through the eligibility criteria for at least once.

For B.Tech or B.Sc or B.Sc (Hons.) Chemistry/Mathematics/Physics Courses:

Sub-Courses: B.Tech Agriculture/Horticulture/Food Tech/Forestry/ Biotechnology

  • Qualifying Exam: Intermediate gradutes i.e. passed 10+2 or equivalent exam a recognized board.
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Maths are mandatory subjects to have in class 12th.
  • Minimum Marks: For general and OBC candidates, the minimum aggregate required in 12th class is 50% which is limited to 45% for SC/ST candidates.

For MBA (Full-time):

  • Qualifying Exam: Bachelor’s Degree holder  in any stream from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Marks: A minimum of 50% marks is required at graduation level. Along with this, candidate must possess valid CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT percentile or score.

For BA LLB (Hons.) or BBA LLB (Hons.) Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam: Intermediate gradutes i.e. passed 10+2 or equivalent exam a recognized board.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates must secure minimum 45% marks (general), 42% marks (OBC) and 40% marks (SC/ST).
  • Age Limit: 20 years for general category and 22 years for SC/ST/OBC

For LLB (Hons.) Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam:Candidates have to pass graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum Marks: Candidates have to score at least 45% marks (in case of general category), 42% marks (in case of OBC category) and 40% marks (in case of SC/ST category).
  • Age Limit: 20 years for general category and 22 years for SC/ST/OBC.

For B.Sc (IT) & BCA Courses:

  • Qualifying Exam:Candidates have to clear10+2 examination from a recognized board.
  • Subjects: Candidates have to pass qualifying exam with Mathematics as a main subject

Step 3: A confirmation mail will be sent to you on your e-mail id along with your registration activation link.

Step 4: On clicking this link your online registration account will be activated.

Step 5: This activation will redirect you to the online registration page.

Step 6: Now login through "Registered Student? Login" section and continue with the registration process as per the instructions given in the form and on completion click the Submit button.

 APPLY NOW CHECK ELIGIBILITY GET UPDATES

Step 7: You can pay registration fees via CCAvenue online secure payment gateway, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS, Direct deposit to dena bank.

Step 8: Keep payment details ready, which may be Credit Card/Debit Card/Internet Banking/Demand Draft/NEFT/RTGS/Direct payment into Bank account.

Details to be Filled in Application Form:-

  • Name of the candidate.
  • Mother’s name.
  • Father’s name.
  • Date of birth of candidate (as per matriculation certificate).
  • Gender.
  • Mobile number of candidate (valid one).
  • Email ID.
  • Qualification details such as marks obtained in class 10th and 12th etc.

UUEE Application Fee:

  • Application fees is INR 1200 
  • A processing fee of INR 50 shall be charged from the students in case of payment through Debit card/Credit card and Internet Banking and the total sum to be submitted is INR 1250.
  • A receipt shall be generated online once the payment is confirmed and the candidate will receive payment confirmation mail.

Note: Candidates are advised to take a print out of their profile and keep it safely for their own record & future reference.

UUEE 2020 Admit Card

  • Admit card for UUEE 2020 will be released around last week of April.
  • Admit card will not be posted to candidates’ address.
  • The document will have all the details related to the test taker and the exam day.
  • Failing to produce the hall ticket on the exam day will result in the cancellation of candidature.
  • Candidates must carry an original photo ID proof along with its photocopy at the center.
  • It is advisable to keep the document safe until the admissions are confirmed.

UUEE Exam Pattern

Before appearing for the exam, candidate must be familiar with the exam pattern as well. Hence, here are the exam patterns for several courses offered by Uttaranchal University Entrance Examination (UUEE 2020).

  • Exam Duration: Exam would last for 2 hours.
  • Questions type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) would be asked in UUEE 2020.
  • Maximum questions: 100 questions would be there in the exam.
  • Marking scheme: 1 mark would be rewarded for each correct response.
  • Negative marking: There is no negative marking for incorrect or unanswered questions.

UUEE Syllabus

Considering the exam pattern and the subjects included, different for different courses, the university will itself set the syllabus for various offered courses accordingly. Although, the students who are preparing for the exams on the basis of class 12th, must start preparing from their books of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics class 11th and 12th to make their basics strong as this would help the aspirants in a big way.

Tips for Preparation:-

  • Visit the university website on regular basis and beware of the latest modifications in the exam pattern.
  • Be familiar with the syllabus and prepare accordingly.
  • Lay down a strategy of yours and implement it strictly.
  • Try to finish the easier topics first and then shift to those which appear tough to you.
  • Keep a track of time while giving exams and try to attempt maximum number of questions as there is no negative marking in UUEE 2020.

UUEE Result

  • Candidates who have qualified the examination can only view their results.
  • The result for UUEE 2020 would be out in last week of May 2020.
  • Visit the official website and enter the required credentials (roll number and name) to access the scores.
  • Candidates will be called for counselling on the basis of marks obtained in UUEE exam.

UUEE Counselling

  • On the basis of marks acquired by a candidate, they would be called for offline counselling.
  • It is segregated among UG and PG courses on different dates.
  • The entire selection/ admission process will be organised at university campus only.
  • Candidates who have applied on basis of 12th exam or JEE Main marks/rank will be called for counselling only after the result declaration of both, 12th and JEE Main exam.
  • After that, document verification would be done.

  • 10th pass Mark Sheet/Certificate
  • 12th pass Mark Sheet/Certificate (Internet copy is acceptable)
  • Graduation/Post Graduation or Equivalent Mark Sheet (If applicable)
