Vardhman Mahaveer Open University conducts VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam for admission to B.Ed. course. This year,  VMOU 2020 B.Ed Entrance Exam will be conducted on May 19, 2020 in offline mode. Only those students are eligible for admission who possess Graduation degree in Science, Arts or Commerce with minimum 50% marks. 

• Students have to pay the application fee of INR 1000.
• Registration Process is done through online mode only. 
• Only those candidates who possess Graduation degree with minimum 50% marks can apply.
• The exam comprises 150 objective type questions of total 450 marks.
• For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.

VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2020 Eligibility   

Students must check their eligibility before performing registration for the exam. In the case of student’s eligibility does not match, then their registration will be cancelled. Following is the complete eligibility criteria which students need to fulfil for appearing in the exam:

• Those who are working presently as a school teacher and also have completed D.El.Ed/ B.S.T.C/ JBT from a recognized institute or university are eligible for admission.
• Students must also possess Graduation degree in Science, Arts, or Commerce with minimum 50% of marks or clear B.Tech with minimum 50% of marks
• There is a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ ST reserved category candidate.

VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2020 Application Form

Before filling the VMOU B.Ed entrance exam application form, students have to register themselves. Registration Process is done through online mode only. Online registration starts from February every year. After Registration, students can start filling the application form.

The last date of submission of application form is April 8, 2020. Applications received after the due date will not be accepted. At the time of registration, students have to pay the application fees. The application fees can be paid through online mode i.e. through Net Banking, Credit Card and Debit Card.

Step 1: Registration

• Visit the official website of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University
• On the website home page, search for the Admissions section
• Click on the Apply Now Link
• Now register by using Email ID and Password
• After successful registration students will receive a confirmation email

Step 2: Filling of Details

• Students have to fill the application form by entering all the details like Candidates Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Address, Contact Number, Qualification details, etc.
• Upload the scanned copy of Signature and Photograph. The size of the image should be less than 50Kb.
• Verify all the filled information before clicking on the Submit button.

Step 3: Payment of Application Fee

• Students have to pay the application fee of INR 1000. The fees can be paid through online mode i.e. via. Credit card/ debit card/ net banking.
• Students are advised to download and take the printout of filled in application form for future reference.

Admit card is a mandatory document. Without admit card students cannot enter the examination centre/ hall. Admit card for all the candidates who have successfully applied for the test will be uploaded on the official website of Vardhman Mahaveer Open University.

VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2020 Pattern

The entrance test is conducted through offline mode only. Following is the detailed explanation of the examination pattern:

• The question paper will be available in Hindi as well as the English language
• The paper is divided into five sections namely Mental Education, Teaching Aptitude, General Knowledge, Expertise in Hindi and English language
• The exam comprises total number of 150 questions worth 450 marks
• All the questions asked in the paper are of multiple choice type questions.
• Total time duration to complete the examination is 3 hours
• For every correct answer, 3 marks will be awarded

The entrance test result can be checked through online mode only. It will not be sent via post or courier. Students must keep visiting the website on regular basis for further updates. Students have to enter their Scholar Number and select the program in order to check the result.

VMOU B.Ed Entrance Exam 2020 Selection Process

On the basis of the results, candidates will be called for counselling process. A merit list will be prepared for the candidates who qualify in the exam. It must be noted that no correspondence related to counselling or selection will be intimated personally over phone or mail.

According to the students rank in the merit list, they will be called for counselling. The Physical presence of the student is mandatory at the time of counselling otherwise seat will be allocated to another candidate. The counselling starts from the First week of July 2020.

Students must bring the following list of documents at the time of counselling for verification. If applicants are unable to bring the documents then they cannot participate in the counselling. The list of the mandatory documents is as below:
