Established in 2013, Presidency University in Bangalore is a part of the Presidency Group of Institutions. It is a private university that has been re-accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. The MBA programme of the institute is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education. The institute focuses on research-oriented teaching methods. The university has been awarded the Best University of the Year in South India by ASSOCHAM India. Also, in 2014 it has been recognised as the Most Promising Institute in South India by the British South India Council of Commerce and Business Meet.

Qualifying Exams

The university accepts JEE Mains, JEE Advanced, Karnataka CET, COMED-K examination scores for admission in the undergraduate engineering courses. The students are supposed to qualify their 12th board exam with a minimum of 45% aggregate. For admission to the undergraduate law course, the candidate is supposed to clear CLAT or LSAT entrance examination. A minimum of 45% is required in the student's 12th board examination. For admission in the postgraduate management course, the candidate is supposed to qualify CAT, XAT, MAT or GMAT examination.
